Every year the earth is getting warmer & warmer and increasing global warming. This increasing Global economic loss and 75% of global economic loss in 2016 due to climate event. Road transport is responsible for about 16% of CO2 emissions and CO2 is the main source for global warming. Every nation is committed to reduce the rise of temperature by 2% to control global warming.

Every one committed to make the earth deserves and forever liveable to next generations by adopting new technology. Automobile industry has made great strides in reducing CO2 emissions from vehicles. Automobile industries are working on different ideas to achieve the goal by introducing Electric Power Vehicle, Hybrid Vehicle (Full Hybrid or Mild Hybrid), Fuel Cell, Bio Diesel, CNG, LPG, Ethanol and Methanol. However, the alternative technologies are having its own limitations and fossil fuel emerges a top technology by competing all those limitations

Limitations of Alternative Technology

BIODIESEL:- The deforestation of rainforests exacerbates climate change and that sensitive ecosystems are destroyed to clear land for oil palm, soybean and sugar cane plantations. Moreover, that biofuels contribute to world hunger, seeing as arable land is no longer used for growing foods.

CNG:- CNG had higher consumption, but same noise and pollution of CO2 and particulates, however NOx emission was lower compare to Diesel. It also burns at a lower temperature and so generates less NOx. Require a greater amount of space for fuel storage.

ELECTRIC POWER:- If the energy to recharge the batteries is generated using fossil fuels, there is no overall environmental advantage. Longer recharging times and availability of charging point. High investments into a dense and user-friendly charging infrastructure are crucial for creating demand.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY:- TThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Design for the Environment program concluded that batteries using nickel and cobalt, like lithium-ion batteries, have the "highest potential for environmental impacts". It cited negative consequences like mining, global warming, environmental pollution and human health impacts. As hundreds of thousands more of these batteries hit the market, the problems that come with lithium mining, battery lifecycles and recycling loom large.

HYBRID ENGINE:- It produces CO2 and generates NOx and the amount of emission depends on the hybrid mode.

HYDROGEN & FUEL CELL:- The amount of energy required to make it, by separating the Hydrogen and Oxygen in water, its highly explosive nature when mixed with oxygen. This technology is far from market maturity and will bring new unsolved challenges like the cooling of hydrogen or the safe storage in a car. Hydrogen engines do, however, air hydrogen combustion can potential to release or produce oxides of nitrogen, known as NOx.The primary emissions from fuel cell and Hydrogen engine are water or water vapour. Nature have solution to observe CO2 by plants and produces Oxygen. But we do not have nature protectant like plant to observe water vapour. Therefore, while adding water vapor to the atmosphere through hydrogen burning is technically possible, it is not a practical or sustainable solution for increasing the amount of water in the atmosphere. Additionally, any attempt to manipulate the Earth's atmosphere on a large scale should be approached with caution, as it could have unintended consequences for the planet's climate and ecosystems. HYDEROSPIRATION.

LPG:- It produces less CO2 and generates less NOx in the process. Also the hydrocarbon emissions are fewer and also less harmful than with gasoline.

ETHANOL:- Ethanol is a particulate-free burning fuel source that combusts with oxygen to form carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, water and aldehydes. Brazil burns significant amounts of ethanol biofuel. Gas Chromatograph studies were performed of ambient air in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and compared to Osaka, Japan, which does not burn ethanol fuel. Atmospheric Formaldehyde was 160% higher in Brazil, and Acetaldehyde was 260. E85 fuel would increase the risk of air pollution deaths relative to gasoline by 9%.

So what will be the alternative technology? and how it will compete all the technology?
